Guatemala Mission Trip 2018

As most of you may know, last summer I went to Guatemala for my first missions trip, and I also ran the NYC Marathon this past November to raise funds for Alvaro Diaz, one of the missionaries there! All of that of course, was made possible by God’s provision and grace, but was thankfully with your support!!

I hope you know that together we are making an impact.

My heart has been called to serve in Guatemala again. I love the people, the culture, and getting to witness how God is working there. I was able to gain a little more perspective of my own purpose – which is to love and care for people however I can where ever I am. I know my work there is not over, nor was it just meant to be a one-time thing. I will be going with my brother-in-Christ, Stanley H. (It’s going to be his first time serving in Guatemala!) We will be ministering with Students International to serve in Magdalena, Guatemala from March 17 to March 25th.

During our time there, we will be working alongside missionaries in various occupational ministry sites to build relationships with the local community while meeting their medical, educational, and spiritual needs. We will share of God’s love for all of us and serve hopefully in a way that allows for a positive long-term impact. We are excited to be challenged and to experience how God will use us!

I am praying that this trip will allow for God to continue stretching me beyond my comfort zone, for me to learn how to serve with boldness and humility, and to grow more intimately with Christ.

Together, we can continue to be a substantial part of what God is doing to uplift the community in Magdalena, Guatemala. Will you please pray about the part God wants you to play in this outreach?

Stanley and I appreciate all and any prayer and financial support we will receive. If you have any questions about this outreach I would love to talk with you. I am extremely excited about this opportunity to serve and hope you can share in my excitement.

Blessings and in Him,

If you feel led to support through prayer, we would love for you to pray for the following:
• That He will prepare our hearts to serve others, to replace our fear with faith, and that we will be an encouragement to other brothers and sisters
• That the students and families will have open hearts and minds to receiving the Lord
• That God continues to use Students International to serve the community and His Kingdom
• That God’s power and love be on display through us
